How to Make the Cards
1. Print the template.
The template can be delivered to your email at the bottom of this post.
2. Cut out the cupcake liner.
For a card, cut out two cupcake liner shapes from paper in the same color.
If you are making a basic cupcake craft instead of a card, you only need one piece.

3. Attach the second piece.
Apply glue down the left edge of the second cupcake liner so the finished piece can open and close like a card.

4. Cut out the cupcake top.
Trace the template onto cardstock of a different color. Cut out the shape and glue it beneath the cupcake liner piece.

5. Create the sprinkles.
Snip paper into thin strips, then glue the pieces onto the cupcake top to create colorful sprinkles.

6. Attach 2 large googly eyes.

7. Add the face and rosy cheeks.
Use a black marker to draw a happy smile.
For the cheeks, dip the end of a paintbrush or pencil into pink paint and place one dot on either side of the mouth.

This cupcake paper craft is cute, simple, and wonderfully sweet! Preschoolers and kindergarteners can make it with minimal assistance.
